What it is

A low-cost, 400-gram robot hand with four fingers. Each finger has two tiny motors, and all eight live inside the hand with no cables running out of the fingers. It can make a fist, a peace sign and wag a finger, and a webcam demo lets it copy your own hand.

How it works

  1. Eight Feetech SCS0009 micro servos, two per finger (index, middle, ring and thumb).
  2. Both motors of a finger turn the same way to curl it, and opposite ways to spread it sideways.
  3. Six motors sit in pairs across the top of the palm; the thumb pair sits low in the palm.
  4. Driven from an Arduino or Python, with a hand-tracking demo that uses a regular webcam.

Is it for me?

Medium-easy. Great if you want something that looks impressive on a desk and teaches how fingers really move.
